Thanksgiving has been an American tradition since 1863. It is always celebrated on the last Thursday of November. The pilgrims were said to be the first people to eat Thanksgiving dinner after their first harvest.

During our lesson today the students had the chance to watch a short video related to the history of Thanksgiving Day and then answer some comprehension questions. In order to do more practice we also talked about the things we are thankful for, such as having good friends.
